AML Policy and Program Writer

Under the direction of a senior advisor, the Policy and Program Writer will be responsible for the documentation of various sections of AML and RPAA manuals and risk assessments based on information received from the client. The Policy and Program Writer will also be responsible for ensuring that any AML and RPAA manuals or risk assessments submitted for presentation are properly formatted, are consistent and meet the overall standards for client product delivery.

The AML Shop is a fully remote working environment.

Term:  12-month maternity leave contract

Anticipated start date: January 2, 2026

Salary/ Rate: $60,000-80,000 per year ($30-41 per hour)

What the position entails:

  • Interact directly with client

  • Process and summarize client information

  • Create content sections for documents and manuals

  • Process documents and manuals using The AML Shop templates and/or applications

  • Document risk assessments using The AML Shop methodology

  • Format reports and manuals that adhere to The AML Firm standards

  • Research and summarize regulatory information, as required

  • Assist with various projects to support the overall advisory and program development team

 

What will you need to succeed?

  • 2 - 3 years of related experience in money services business operations

  • Working knowledge of Canadian AML legislation, regulation and guidance

  • Knowledge of RPAA legislation, regulation and guidance, an asset

  • Experience in technical, professional, or legal writing, an asset

  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, and Power point

  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken

 

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday; 9am to 5pm ET
